Day 01

Arrival & Sigiriya Exploration

Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, our representative will warmly greet you and accompany you on a scenic drive to Sigiriya. On the way, we’ll stop at a pineapple plantation for a refreshing break. Once in Sigiriya, embark on an unforgettable journey to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress—an ancient marvel from the 5th century perched on a massive rock. After exploring, relax at your hotel in Sigiriya for an overnight stay.

Day 02

Polonnaruwa & Minneriya Elephant Safari

In the morning, travel to Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka’s ancient second capital, filled with stunning ruins and remnants that display exceptional ancient architecture and craftsmanship. After your cultural exploration, head to Minneriya National Park in the late afternoon. Here, enjoy an exciting wild elephants safari where you’ll witness herds of elephants gathering by the lakeside. After an awe-inspiring safari, return to your hotel in Sigiriya for the night.

Day 3

Dambulla, Matale, and Kandy

Start your day with a visit to the Dambulla Cave Temple—also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla—famous for its beautiful Buddha statues and murals inside five ancient caves. Continue to Matale to visit a vibrant Hindu temple showcasing stunning South Indian architectural style. Next, head to Kandy, a city rich in culture and history. Here, you’ll visit the revered Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. In the evening, join a unique Sri Lankan cooking Demonstration where you’ll learn to prepare authentic dishes, followed by a delicious meal. Stay overnight in Kandy.

Kandy to Negombo/Colombo – Departure

Conclude your Sri Lankan journey with a scenic drive towards Negombo or Colombo. En route, explore the Peradeniya Royal Botanic Gardens for its vast collection of plants and beautifully landscaped grounds. Visit a Tea Factory to discover the art of tea production, and if time permits, make a stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage for an unforgettable encounter with elephants in a natural setting.
